Policies

Tuition

Tuition is due by the 9th of each month. We accept cash, checks, Visa and Mastercard. A $10.00 late fee will be assesed after the 14th of each month.  Tuition remains the same whether it's a long (5 week) or short (3 week) month. Tuition is calculated from when classes begin in August until December, and then from January to June. Credits are NOT given if a dancer misses class, although they can always make up a missed class in another of similar level.  A credit is given only when the studio has to cancel class due to weather, or teachers's absence. If someone other than the parent is paying tuition (grandparent or guardian) please let us know. There is a $20.00 fee for returned checks. Tutition should be made during class hours 4:30-8:00pm Monday through Thursday, 4:30-6:30pm on Fridays or 9:00am-12noon on Saturdays.

Attendance

Regular attendance is imperative, as absences and tardiness can hold back an entire class. If a dancer is more than 15 minutes late for class they will be asked to observe, and will not be allowed to participate.  This is for their safety.  The progression of exercises are designed to warm up a dancer for more strenuous work. If a dancer misses that, their body can be prone to injury. Dancers can make up a missed class. Check with your instructor for the appropriate class to take. If your dancer is going to miss class, a phone call is appreciated!

Inclement Weather

When there is inclement weather, we do not follow any school district policies, as we have students in many school districts. The decision to cancel class due to bad weather depends on evening conditions and temperatures. The decision will be made by 3:00pm.  We will post on the website, facebook, or the answering machine.  Please check before driving to the studio. If conditions change during the evening hours we will notify parents as soon as possible. **We no longer make personal phone calls for cancelations**

Parent Watch

Premier has set parent watch days for each class throughout the year. There is NO parent observation in September, December, January or May. With 4 studios, we have to spread out the dates so that we do not have 2 classes with parents watching at the same time. We will post the schedule by each studio door.  A schedule will also be available at the desk.
